Over the past month there hasbeen quite a lot of news surrounding the ‘unlockable’ Kurt Cobain cheat where you can have Kurt Cobain lip sync to any song of your choice in Guitar Hero 5.

“I don’t know that I would have wanted it either,” Jon Bon Jovi told the BBC.

“To hear someone else’s voice coming out of a cartoon version of me? I don’t know. It sounds a little forced.”

Bearing in mind Kurt Cobain, when he was alive, never liked the corporate side of the music industry, knowing that a company was making money off of his back, I’m sure he’d be turning in his grave today… or would he?

I’m sure having Kurt Cobain, although the great grunge rock God he was, does having him as an ‘cheat’ code to lip sync any bands songs really a major purchasing decision when people buy GH5? We think probably not. What do you think?
